10/03: Stellenbosh to Cape Town /Simon's town / Hout Bay (approx 80km), THE BIG BLUE BACKPACKERS (R350)

 

 

 

 

 

12/03: Cape Town to Swellendam (approx 225KM), FLAMETREE GUESTHOUSE (R500 BB)

Very nice guesthouse, friendly people.

 

 

13/03 Swellendam to Oudtshoorn (approx 250KM), BACKPACKERS PARADISE(R300) Realy nice and clean backpackers, friendly people.

15/03: Oudtshoorn to Hanover (approx 390KM), WORTELFONTEIN GUEST FARM  (R560)     

In the middle of nowhere...A lovely peaceful farm!

17/03: Hanover to Bloemfontein (approx 330KM) GRATEFUL GUESTHOUSE (R250)

SOUTH AFRICA 2013 / FIRST WEEK

Flight from Brussels to Johannesburg the 27 of February 2013.
Nice flight (Virgin Atlantic), 3 seats to sleep on, food ok.

28/02: Johannesburg to Bethlehem (approx 280 km) LIONSROCK LODGE (R700-BB)
Beautiful place to stay one night on the road to Eastern Cape, good restaurant, very peaceful.

01/03: Bethlehem to Aliwal North (approx 400 km) MARILYN'S B&B (R400)
Good for an overnight stop, friendly people.
Avocado was delicious ;o)

02/03: Aliwal North to Macleantown (approx 325 km) MPONGO PRIVATE GAME RESERVE (R500) very nice place, helpful staff, nice food. Self game drive was good!

 

 

03/03: Macleantown to Hogsback (approx 150 km) TERRA KHAYA ECO BACKPACKERS (R285)
Forest and Mountains, so beautiful!

There is a heart in the mountain ;o) We took an open-air bath under the stars

04/03: Hogsback to Jeffrey's bay (approx 340km) BEACH MUSIC (R300)
Big and lovely room (appartment) in front of the ocean.

05/03: Jeffrey's bay to Wilderness (approx 240km) FAIRY KNOWE BACKPACKERS (R350)
